The dirtiest thing on your property isn't the toilet. It's your garbage can.
190° Hot Water
Eco-Friendly
Fully Contained
Swab a residential garbage can and a public toilet seat side by side, and the can wins every time by a lot. Coliform bacteria, mold spores, fly larvae, rotting food residue. It all lives in there, baking in the sun between pickups, six feet from your back door.
Most people never think about it. The hauler empties the can each week, we put it back by the garage, and we move on. But the bin itself? Nobody cleans the bin.
That's where we come in. North Bin Blasting is a locally owned garbage can cleaning service based in North Kingstown. We sanitize, deodorize, and refresh your cans curbside using 190° water and contained, eco-friendly equipment. You don't lift a finger. You don't even need to be home.

We offer flexible cleaning plans to keep your bins fresh and sanitized all season long.

Curbside return
The truck pulls up after your garbage pick up. We work around your existing trash pickup schedule, so the cans are empty when we arrive. No coordination required on your end. We do a quick inspection. If there's debris stuck to the bottom (and there's usually something), we knock it loose with an initial power wash.
Then the blasting. Our truck picks up the cans with a claw similar to the garbage truck, turns it upside down over our machine and shoots 190°F water at high pressure into every corner of the can - inside, outside, lid, handles, wheels. That temperature is the key, killing any bacteria and deodorizing your trash can. Runoff stays with us. We catch all of the dirty water runoff from going into the street and our equipment captures it.
Final pass: disinfect and deodorize. A plant-based sanitizer goes in, followed by a deodorizer that leaves your trash can smelling clean and fresh.
Back to the curb. We return the can curbside. From start to finish, we're at your house for maybe ten minutes.

The argument for garbage can cleaning isn't really about the smell, though the smell is the thing most people notice first. The real case is health and pest control.
Studies have found that household garbage cans averaged more bacteria per square inch than most surfaces in a hospital. E. coli, salmonella and listeria show up routinely on bins that have never been cleaned.
A single fly can lay 500 eggs in its lifetime and a dirty garbage can is prime real estate. Hot-water cleaning eliminates the eggs along with the food residue they feed on.
Raccoons and skunks aren't really after your trash, they're after the smell of it. Take the smell away and you take away most of the reason they keep coming back. This matters in Southern Rhode Island, where wildlife pressure is real.
This is a small thing, but if you're selling your home and you've ever had buyers walk through your garage on a hot July day and made a face, yeah. Clean bins matter.
The DIY tax. You can clean a garbage can yourself. People do. Most of them try it once and decide it's the worst chore on Earth, and never do it again. Most don't use hot water and the bin goes right back to smelling within a week or two.
