Salt air really hits plastic differently here. Homes just a few blocks from Greenwich Bay deal with a sticky film on their bins. It's from the water. And whatever dust the wind blows off the marina lots. We've picked up bins near the bay that seemed okay from the sidewalk. But up close, they had a grimy layer. A regular hose won't ever touch that.
