The smell. This is the big one. Especially in summer, when the bin sits in the sun all week between pickups, the inside basically becomes a slow cooker. A clean bin doesn't smell. Yours will, and it'll stay that way.

The bugs. Flies lay eggs in dirty bins. Those eggs hatch. You can guess the rest. Hot-water sanitation eliminates that whole problem at the source.Removes foul odors and deters pests/rodents

The animals. Raccoons, skunks, the occasional opossum — they're not coming for the bin, they're coming for the residue. Clean bins are dramatically less interesting to wildlife.

The health piece. E. coli, salmonella, and listeria all show up in residential trash bin swabs. If your bin lives near where the kids play or where you grill, it's worth thinking about.

The convenience. Most of our customers tried cleaning their own bins once. They didn't try a second time.
